Our new site is now working as is our “donate now” button. We have updated the address to where check donations should be sent so please check it and make a note of it. We have begun posting our children’s pictures and stories. We are very excited to now be able to update our website on our own and will try to do it as often as possible so that you have a reason to keep coming back!

The month of December was a busy one! Our “Best of Beijing” Cookbook that we had been working on for over 6 months was printed. With the help of a designer friend, Nicole, in the United States and a variety of contributions including recipes, artwork, editing skills, etc., we were able to finish the books in time for December’s many bazaars. We were able to sell over 150 books at the WAB charity bazaar in only a few hours.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered your time working the booths. Thank you also to the many people who helped put the cookbook together and to those who purchased a book! The net proceeds of each book sold, RMB125, will go directly towards funding more medical care for our orphans.
