Baby Li was moved from a local orphanage to our partner medical foster home China Little Flower when she was referred to us. She had an adrenal disorder and as a result was severely underweight, very small, and too weak to even cry.
February, 2010
Over the course of several months she underwent treatment at the pediatric clinic of Beijing United Family Hospital. She grew healthier and more active under the care of an amazing healthcare team.
Early March, 2010
The first time her assigned UFCH patient advocate, Abby Keil, saw her post-treatment, she could barely recognize her!
Mid March
Baby Li still has many challenges ahead of her, as do all the babies that pass through our doors, but with the dedicated support of our healthcare staff and wonderful donors we can help make their journey a hopeful one.
