Since 2014, the Foundation Board of Directors agreed to expand the mission of UFCH from serving only children to include providing healthcare interventions for all vulnerable populations. We believe in healthcare as a right for all and work to improve access in underserved areas in China to provide people with respect and opportunities to live healthier, happier lives. Our Healthcare for All Program encompasses our Remote Diagnosis and Training Program in Sichuan Province, the China Children’s Medical Care Program, the Foundation Clinic with medical fellows from United Family Hospital’s Family Medicine Department, and the Wheels for Life community health van. UFCH’s new Healthcare for All now provides continuity of care to orphans, poor children, the disabled, abused women, elderly and migrant workers all by partnering with social organizations that provide the first line of support for these vulnerable populations.
